Montrose, NY, March 1, 2018 — Scott Process Equipment Corporation (www.Scott4U.com) is proud to announce and welcome Sami Tali as Sales Engineer. Sami will be responsible for nurturing customer relationships providing engineering, and application-based solutions. He is fluent in three languages (English, French and Arabic) and will use his strong communication skills to identify needs and demonstrate the features and benefits of Scott Process’ robust product line.  Based in Rutherford, NJ he will service Bergan, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Union, and the northern parts of Somerset counties.

Sami received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Energy (thermodynamics, turbo machines, HVAC, refrigeration, combustion and heat transfer) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from École Polytechnique, and John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montréal, Québec respectively.  Main engineering projects included the design and development of a robotic system, a helicopter gear box, an artificial hand and automation of aircraft design.  In addition, he completed pump and pumping systems postgraduate courses.

His career-related experience solidified the decision to invite Sami to join the Scott Process team.  He has significant knowledge in project management and the coordination of all project activities through entire life-cycle, from client inquiry to invoice.  While working for a German pump manufacturer (now part or Pentair), he gained explicit experience in contracting and project management in the Middle East during the construction of pumping stations and wastewater management and as part of Bombardier’s Environmentally Friendly Aircraft project team he participated in research activities aimed at reducing the environmental impact of future aircrafts.  Most recently, Sami was the team leader of an inside sales and application engineering team for a prominent US pump supplier where he would evaluate the mechanical process and install equipment and machinery in various sectors such as power, food, and petrochemical.
